DOLPHIN DASH




WHO:
        The Marine Mammal Stranding Center (MMSC) is a non-profit organization located in Brigantine, N.J. and is the only organization in the State of New Jersey authorized to rescue and rehabilitate stranded marine mammals and sea turtles. Since the Center's founding in 1978, over 4,300 animals (including whales, dolphins, seals & sea turtles) have been treated by the MMSC.

WHAT:      On Saturday, August 23, Extreme Windsurfing & The Comfort Inn will host a standup paddleboard contest to support the Marine Mammal Stranding Center. Registration will open at 7am; Skippers Meeting at 7:45am and the First Start will be at 8am. This is a 4-mile race followed by Sprint Races. Classes are 14ft, 12’6, Surf Class (12ft max) and categories include men, women, over 50 and juniors (awards will be given out in all classes and categories with 5 or more PRE registered racers).  Breakfast snacks will be served and T-shirts will be given to all that preregister by 8/15!
