The AC Beat spoke with therapist Tamu King-Lewis just hours before the announcement that Oscar Winning Actor Robin Williams committed Suicide.

Raymond Tyler and Mrs. King-Lewis discussed depression, suicide and suffering in silence.

Mrs. King-Lewis works at The Women's Center here in South Jersey, where both men and women can seek help if they need it.

Postcard: From The Uptown 4 Life Family Reunion Extravaganza

This year was the second year and my first.

It did not disappoint.

After doing my weekly  ten minute set for The AC Beat on 96.1 FM WTTH (shameless plus) Sunday Morning...I arrived at Oscar McClinton Park about 1pm.

After some technical difficulties that never quite worked themselves out right I did do a solid half hour set.

All day I saw friends and family I hadn't seen in years.

Uptown is one section of AC about 20 at the most square blocks but there were well over 3000 people at yesterday's event.

That's because AC is at its heart a small town where everyone does know each other whether they acknowledge it or not.

Yesterday was all about peace and family and fun.

Shout out to Able One, Monk, Marc Asbusry, Mah D, Fah D and all the other DJ's with whom I shared some sounds!

This August, a purchase made at the Frank S. Farley Service Plaza on the Atlantic City Expressway could be worth $500,000 thanks to a partnership between Trump Taj Mahal Casino Hotel  Frank S. Farley Service Plaza. This partnership is in support of the South Jersey Transportation Authority’s celebration of the 50^th Anniversary of the Atlantic City Expressway.
“Trump Taj Mahal congratulates the South Jersey Transportation Authority on the successful 50^th Anniversary of the Atlantic City Expressway campaign,” said Kathleen McSweeney, Senior Vice President of Marketing for Trump Taj Mahal. “We are thrilled to join in this celebration with a marketing partnership with the Frank S. Farley Plaza. Together we hope that this will encourage those traveling to other shore destinations to also visit Atlantic City.”
Starting Friday, August 1, those who are at least 21 years of age can bring a receipt from any purchase made at the Frank S Farley Service Plaza in August 2014 to the Trump One Services promotion center at Trump Taj Mahal, and they will receive a free entry into the Taj's $500,000 "Match the App" game. The date of the receipt does not have to match the date of the visit to Trump Taj Mahal.

All participants who play the $500,000 Match the App game are guaranteed winners. Prizes are: $500,000 cash, $5-$750 Bonus Slot Dollars, $5-$750 Comp Dollars, a free buffet, and two tickets to The Magic of Rob Lake. The Match the App game is available in the Main Concourse at Trump Taj Mahal every day in August from Noon-6pm.
